Zebraw

At last, I ended my curiousness to visit Zebraw. What is zebraw? Zebraw is a recently-opened cafe at Jalan Akses UI. Honestly, the first thing that turned my head on is it's big neon box. It stands in front of the cafe. The neon box design is very similar compared by starbucks's. "This cafe should be something,,", i spoke to myself everytime I pass by. And here is the story.
After I decided to leave campus after maghrib, I began to consider visiting Zebraw. But I was still not sure untill I passed the UI flyover. Oh i almost forget, Zebraw took location in front of Akademi-something, just after the bridge (the bridge is just after UI flyover). Then I turned on my turn sign lamp, and parked my bike there. I was the second customer. In the first time, I just wanted to try the drink, so I sit outdoor with umbrella-table in front of me. But due to the unflatness(is this word exist in the dictionary??) of the floor, I moved in. The waiter gave me the menu and left me for a minute.
Then I looked at the menu. The food and drink is grouped in certain order. What I still remember are steaks, hot coffees, and hamburgers. I think there are at least five categories of them. After i skimmed the menu, I decided to order Hot Chocolate. As it is written, it is a cup of hot chocolate :). Besides, I also ordered Almond Rain. It is a grilled bread (a pair, just like sandwich) with cheese, chocolate pasta, white condensed milk and almonds.
After a couple of minutes, my Hot Chocolate came. It was served in a white-quite-good-looking-cup but the sugar was separated in a different glass. The cup was a little bit bigger than other cup i know but the drink was good. I like it. Altough it is lighter than Yukemari's, but I was satisfied. It costed 6.5 k. Not a long time after i started to enjoy my drink, my meal came before my eyes.
The Almond Rain (costed 9.0 k) served in an almost flat white plate. I was impressed with how it looked. It really awakened my appetite. The almonds were many, much more than I expected. First I tried one piece of the almonds. It tasted good really, reminded me to the JCo's. Then I started to slice the bread. The bread was quite tender. And the chocolate pasta was all over the bread. I felt that i was too much. It made my teeth felt weird because it was so sweet. I spoke to myself, if i have a chance to give suggestion, i will tell that the chocolate was too much.
And this thing happened. When i waited for my another order(for my bro and sis), two Cheese Beef Burger @ 8.0k, one of the waiter came to me. He asked my, "How do you know this place? Do you often pass this road?". "Yes", I answered. Then he asked my where was I from. I said, "Oh, I just left from my campus. I am on my going home". He asked again how the food and drink were. Wow! I was asked to give a feedback for a food in a cafe. I felt so honored. Of course I said "Err, the bread was good actually, except.. the chocolate was too mush for me. But overall, it is good. And the drink, I like it too.". "How bout the price?", he asked me again. With a high amount of i-have-so-much-money-illusion-feeling, i said "I think the price is okay, actually it is relatively cheaper. Another cafe put higher price for food and drink like you serve here." For a moment, I felt like I can replace Mr Bondan Winarno.. And the conversation ended as my burgers were already packed. Then I paid and go home.
I like the place. I like the service, I feel treated in equal manner even I was as a motorcycle rider that time. Well the conclusion is, I must be seeing my next visit to Zebraw, I really consider visiting again..
